Activities

To discover Krakow in a different way, let yourself be tempted by a range of captivating activities: guided tours, immersive excursions and original experiences plunge you into the heart of the city's history, culture and vibrant soul.

When to go to Krakow

The most pleasant season to visit Krakow is between May and September, when the city has nice warm weather (18-26 degrees) and lots of sunshine. Summer draws in the most visitors; the whole city feels vibrant and there are greater numbers of people everywhere but particularly around the main attractions. To beat the crowds and still enjoy a mild climate, late spring (May and June) or early autumn (September) are perhaps the best time to walk the maze of the old town narrow streets or taking a cruise on the Vistula River at a discounted price. Winter in Krakow could be referred to as cold (by definition it is often below zero degrees), but it has a certain charm with the Christmas markets and snow-lined streets. In all times of a year, Krakow will always be welcoming and accessible and you will see a different charm to the city every single time you visit.
